Creating a generational home, one deck at a time!

This renovation transformed a cherished generational holiday home into a timeless retreat for future generations. The design embraces a classic beach house aesthetic combined with celebrating Australian hardwood. The project's scope included adding two bedrooms to accommodate a growing family and creating an outdoor entertaining deck area that frames stunning ocean views.

Key design features include an ironbark timber deck and structure, a servery window connecting the kitchen to the outdoors, louvred blinds for privacy and shading and a glass balustrade to allow view out.

The result is a grand, hardwood timber deck perfect for gathering, seamlessly blending style, functionality, and the natural beauty of its surroundings. A place that will be loved for generations.
