Blending the old with the new!

The brief for Darvall Street was to renovate and extend the existing home to accommodate a growing family that needed the home to function according to their needs. Aesthetically they wanted to keep the existing building untouched and make a bold statement with the extension whilst still complimenting the existing structure.

Blending old-world charm with modern flair, this extension takes a classic Tudor-style home to the next level. Carefully selected materials—brick, metal panelling, and expansive glass windows—complement the original structure while giving the new addition its own identity.

Sloping ceilings add drama and variation, while the facade ensures every side of the home makes an impression. With windows perfectly framing views from every angle, this design is all about creating spaces that not only feel as good as they look but also work functionally.
